10 Levels of Target Shooting
Training Ops is a speed shooter that challenges players to move through levels as fast as they can while shooting positive targets and avoiding negative targets and enemies. There are 10 levels that each have a unique challenge for the players to overcome.

Master Levels and Achieve a High Score
Training Ops was designed so that it is difficult for players to master the game and achieve a high score. Players must be excellent at speed, accuracy, and consistency to achieve a high score. Players receive a summary of their statistics at the end of each round so that they know exactly how their score was calculated and how they can improve.

Compete Online with the Global Leaderboard
Training Ops featured an Online Global Leaderboard that allowed players to compete with other players around the world. If a player is logged into an account, their score is posted to the leaderboard at the end of the round. This created a great community of players competing with each other in this game.

My Role as Lead Game Designer
As the Lead Game Designer for Training Ops, I was responsible for the overall vision and design of the game. This design included the scoring system that led to successful competitions as well as a modular toolset that allowed the level designers to create a variety of levels. The modular toolset allowed the development team to prototype quickly and make multiple levels. When the design for this project started, I was the sole developer, but we grew the development team halfway through the project. It was my job to onboard each of these developers, and get them up to speed on the project so that they could contribute quality work to the project.
